As they looked at the creature's body, they wondered if it was dead and the king looked at them, then they smiled at him and he exhaled deeply before turning around and placing his sword back in its scabbard.

"Don't worry, there is no need to worry, it's now dead," He said and his kids sighed in relief, but not only because the beast was dead but also because their father was okay and was not badly injured.

"That was slightly tiring, don't you think?" He asked as all of his kids went to him.

The demon glanced at one among those who were close to the king and his eyes narrowed then Nessa looked at him and wondered, who it was that he was looking at.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked as she looked at him then he glanced at her and his eyes narrowed.

"Don't worry, I am just thinking about something, besides I like to be sure before I say anything and it is something else, do you understand, my lady?" He asked and she sighed then nodded.

"Yeah, I understand very well, now, keep an eye out, who knows what might happen next," She responded and he nodded then she went to the king and he followed her, while keeping an eye out.

"Are you sure that you are okay?" Nessa asked as she looked at the king and he peeked at her then smiled and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah, I am sure, this was fun, I haven't fought like that for a while, all I have been doing is my normal duties, it can get pretty boring," He responded and the others laughed.

"I won't doubt you on that, in fact, I bet is it, but you can't avoid, you did great today, your highness," She said.

"Yeah, Nessa is right, father, you did well, you even killed it by yourself, seems like you have a lot of energy to spare, I hear you have a lot more documents to take a look at," Mikala added as the king stared at her then exhaled deeply.

"I am glad to hear that as well, we are here to help in any way we can, of course," Quion replied and the king nodded then glanced at Nessa and his eyes narrowed.

That's when Nessa realized that the king was already thinking about the incident and her brows furrowed then she smiled at him and the king exhaled deeply.

"The mess needs to be cleaned up and I want it done as soon as possible and have people start the repairs of that which was destroyed, I want nothing here to look like garbage, am I clear?" The king asked as his men approached him and they all bowed their heads.

"Yes," They responded and the king nodded then Nessa looked at the way he ruled and she scoffed.

'I wonder if the king is going to ask me anything, if he does I am going to give him the answer that he needs, after all, it's not only them that may end up in trouble,' Nessa thought as she glanced at the city and her brows furrowed as hers came to her mind and she sighed.

"Well, that's it for now, we have a bit of cleaning up to do but it's already almost the end of the day, we can continue them tomorrow, in fact, there are still quite a few things that I need to do, so let's all head back to the castle and get some rest," The king said.

The others agreed with the king, while others did their job and everyone decided to return to the castle, since it was already quite late and the king wanted to relax a bit as well.

Later that day, after everyone had their dinner and Nessa as well as the demon left the dining hall, after she was asked by the king to meet her the next day, since he wanted to talk a bit.

"I am going to my room, I will talk to you about more tomorrow," She said as they entered a hallway.

"Got it, I am going to share my part as well, things are getting even more interesting, that I can assure you, they are making another move," He replied.

Nessa was going to say something to him, as they were heading to their rooms, when she glanced at Jovan, who smiled at her and had just walked past her and her eyes narrowed then she clenched her right fist and the demon glanced at her.
