Chapter 154: Kameria Elimination (2)
Chapter 154: Kameria Elimination (2)
The tentacles, multiplying endlessly like an intricate net, sprawled across the universe, filling its vast expanse. It resembled a colossal, fleshy planet that had swollen to thousands of times its original size.
Team 2, including Milo, was engulfed within the heart of this monstrous entity.
Beep-
[Unable to detect Sir Milo’s signal. Transmitting estimated coordinates.]
But Karlstein was not worried. Milo had not been chosen for the vanguard by chance; considering his skills, the man was likely holding his ground, adapting to the situation with precision.
What mattered now was...
“All forces! Follow the path created by Team 2 and regroup with them!”
Karlstein’s voice rang out as he held his spear in a crushing grip. One of his personal armaments, the gleaming blue crystal spear resembled a needle.
“Hoo...”
He exhaled, and his Ether—vast as an ocean—erupted outward, creating a crushing pressure that rippled through the surroundings. Even the advancing heroes flinched under its weight.
[Don’t look back!]
[Don’t stop! Trust His Majesty and push forward!]
[Charge towards the marked coordinates!]
Ahead of the heroes, their path seemed blocked—an impenetrable wall of flesh. But when Kalstein hurled his spear—
BOOOM-
The crystal spear carved a massive hole through the fleshy barrier, revealing a way forward.
[Join the vanguard!]
[For Emperor Karlstein!]
[For the Galactic Empire!]
The heroes cheered in a fervor... but not for long.
Slither-
[S-Squad leader! The path is closing!]
[It’s regenerating!]
[W-what should we do...!]
The path began to rapidly fill with flesh—it was Kameira’s power of regeneration.
But Karlstein’s 14th Ether armament, Taitalos— a name that symbolized pioneering—did not permit such defiance. The residual Ether left by the thrown crystal spear crystallized along the path, forming a solid corridor. ȑAɴοbËṨ
Taitalos was designed solely to carve a way forward.
[Hurry!]
[His Majesty has cleared the path!]
The leading heroes quickly charged into the crystalline passage without hesitation.
[Designated personnel are to install Kaiju Wave Neutralizing Suppressors at the transmitted coordinates.]
At Aria’s command, select heroes planted and activated suppressors throughout the crystal passage, stabilizing the route.
These suppressors were also cutting-edge technology newly developed for Kameira’s elimination. Their function was to counteract the Kaiju energy waves emanated by the Single Number, and to halt the ridiculous regenerative ability unique to Kameira.
The fleshy passage fluctuated between regeneration and disintegration as it maintained its crystal state.
The preparations were complete.
As Milo fended off one of Kameira’s attacks, the nearby Tank Team 2 installed suppressors to secure the area. The rear guard swiftly joined the fray.
This marked the completion of the operation’s first stage. Thus far, the strategy was proceeding according to plan. Though they were ambushed by dimension-jumping Kaiju, it was handled without significant casualties.
Though they had expended the weapons that were meant to later deal with Kameira’s reviving thralls...
It’s fine as long as we end it quick.
It was a problem that could be solved by speeding up the battle.
But then...
[Argh! Unidentified Triple Number-class entity detected ahead!]
[Quadra Number-class unidentified entities... Multiple detected!]
Suddenly, the fleshy walls of the passage heaved and burst apart, spawning monstrous Kaiju. The creatures tore through the crystal barrier, blocking the path forward.
-KRRR!
[Our squad will handle the Triple Number! Press on!]
[Leave the Quadra-class to me.]
[Commander!]
[Aren’t we short on time? Let’s finish this in one sweep.]
Speed is key now.
Karlstein led the core strike team, including Maxien, and followed the vanguard while conserving their strength as much as possible.

ᄂdats the final chaos boss?
ᄂbruh... isn’t it just a world on its own? off the top of my head... it seems bigger than the sun?
ᄂEW GROSS
ᄂshit keeps popping out
ᄂI think it’s amazing they even broke through that
Kameira loomed, swollen to a size rivaling the very sun itself. The Imperial forces were indeed amazing for managing to break through it.
ᄂjust means donating gives them disposable mana.
ᄂo lol
ᄂExcuse me, do they give reactions too?
ᄂlmfao crazy mfer
ᄂwhy u asking for reactions u gonna regret it later lol
ᄂbruh its my money, I can ask!
ᄂlololololol
Aria, of course, did not address the question about reactions. While not impossible, it was beyond what she could promise.
“Unfortunately, the Galactic Empire can’t provide support in that manner directly. We look forward to your enthusiastic participation instead.”
ᄂ....
ᄂso basically you’re asking for money?
ᄂWhat’s the reward?
ᄂits written in the notice lol says they’ll give appropriate rewards when the Galactic Empire conquers later.
ᄂbro how long we gotta wait for that? we can’t even see the ‘ga’ of galactic empire from here
Indeed, that was the case. Although the Galactic Empire had begun dimensional conquest, they had only cleared a few hundred dimensions so far. It was too early to conquer the entire Community.
Of course, this was partly why Karlstein had accelerated the subjugation.
ᄂThey say the range of conquered dimensions will gradually expand?
ᄂconsidering how many users are in the whole community, it’s an uncertain bet....
In truth, Aria was a bit flustered at this point. With the great feat of Single Number subjugation ahead, the Galactic Empire was pouring all its resources into the situation. Over a million ships were firing their main guns continuously, clearing out the newly reviving thralls near the berserk Kameira. Without the heroes, the Imperial fleet was bound to be pushed back. The thralls would gain the upper hand as time passed.
But the gravity of the matter could only be felt from the Galactic Empire’s perspective. To the Community users, who lived only for the moment, it was little more than a spectacle.
“Hmm... It seems you don’t find the rewards satisfactory?”
ᄂI mean I like it but yaknow...
ᄂWhy bother...? Who knows when we’ll receive that. If we’re unlucky our dimension might only be breached after a hundred years, how would we know?
ᄂyeahh ikr
ᄂtf u agreeing? 100 yrs my ass lmao bet it won’t even take a decade
ᄂokay so how can we trust that?
The Community’s trademark skepticism and tendency for conspiracy theories made it hard for Aria’s words to land.
ᄂanyway, doesn’t this mean we can use karma as currency when the galactic empire takes over later?
ᄂExactly. Why not just save it for then?
I didn’t expect such an atmosphere.
Perhaps the Community, an aggregation of irrationality, was still too early for Aria. She sighed.
It might have been different had we introduced a stock and loan system instead.
Certainly, the impact of Karlstein speeding up the subjugation was not small. The Empire was forced to accelerate their plans.
Then...
“Ladies and gentlemen of the Integrated Dimensional Community.”
Aria fixed her gaze directly on the screen.
ᄂ??
ᄂ?
ᄂwai?
ᄂu gonna do a reaction for us after all?
ᄂi might consider donating if u can at least promise that lol
ᄂzero two, lesgooooo!
ᄂHehehe.
Aria checked the real-time chat window and made a decision.
“Heheheh.”
ᄂwuh?
ᄂ?
ᄂlol suddenly feeling chills
ᄂthe hell?
She knew her next words could damage the future image of the Emperor and the Galactic Empire. But even so...
“Kindly shut your face and donate. I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.”
ᄂeh?
ᄂ?
ᄂ??
ᄂexcuse me?
“Or if you can handle the consequences... do as you please.”
A moment of silence ensued.
Aria was slowly starting to adapt to the /genesisforsaken
