Chapter 99 Ultimate Weapon
A peaceful approach to the impending new order in Krypton seems to be the most perfect solution.
Carl El and Joe El were reunited as father and son, and everyone happily made dumplings together.
Earth can be preserved, and humanity will not suffer a catastrophe like that of the Tamaran aliens.
The only problem is:
"So what is the price?"
From a pragmatic perspective, Joey's acceptance of Krypton to save Earth is a win-win situation.
However, Joey always felt that there must be something wrong with this.
It's unlikely that Jor-El brought such a large fleet here just for a father-son reunion, is it?
Is Jor-El just a simple family-oriented hero?
This is the DC Universe, not the "Fast & Furious" universe!
"What exactly does Jor-El want from Earth or from me?"
"I've said it so many times! He just wants you!"
Kara was nearly furious, but she couldn't just reveal her earlier accidental discovery; that secret was now a topic that couldn't be touched at all.
His cousin was clearly a blasphemous creation born from Jor-El's illegal experiments, incorporating a segment of DNA from the most dangerous creature in Krypton's history.
The fact that the other person was able to grow up unharmed and become a kind person who can stand here and communicate normally with her is already something that shattered Kara's worldview.
Kara didn't know whether Joe Al was more important for him than the DNA in his son's body or his son himself.
Or are both important?
She had no choice but to continue her indirect approach, trying to persuade Joey to give up:
"You could easily become a hero for both races and achieve something great, so why confine yourself to this primitive planet?"
"Pfft~ Now that you mention it, I know what's wrong."
Joey was subconsciously resisting this seemingly perfect situation, but she couldn't understand why she was resisting it.
Now he understands what Joe Al really wants.
An heir, and an assistant.
This is also recorded in the movie Star Wars Episode III: Darth Vader's words to his son: "Join me, and together we, father and son, can rule the entire galaxy."
Blood ties are a natural covenant and bond, and for Darth Vader, his own flesh and blood, Luke Skywalker, was clearly more trustworthy than anyone else in the Empire.
The same is probably true for raising El.
Joey's cheapskate father is currently driving a war machine called Krypton, crushing all life in the universe.
He may have been the one sitting at the front of the chariot giving directions, but that doesn't mean there weren't dissenting voices inside.
At such a crucial moment, Joe Al would most likely not just let his eldest son waste his life on a primitive planet.
It is obvious that as long as Joey nods in time, the Kryptonian invasion crisis, which would be a catastrophe for Earth, can be resolved in an instant.
Krypton's forgiveness of Earth may not be difficult, but such forgiveness will certainly come at a price.
At that point, Joey probably won't be able to stay on Earth any longer, but will have to participate in the "business" of the Second Kryptonian Expedition as a Kryptonian.
Joey can save the Earth, "fight for the Earth," but not in the way he imagines.
"As your family, I don't want to be so pragmatic, but your father is indeed the most powerful person on Krypton, and possibly in the entire universe."
Seeing Joey's serious expression, Kara assumed he was seriously considering her proposal, and immediately threw out another tempting offer:
"And you are his only son, you should know what that means."
This means that if Joey decides to join Krypton, he might even receive an entire universe directly.
However, this path to taking the entire universe into his hands will likely be paved with blood.
Before the Kryptonians arrived, Joey had killed at most a few hundred people, a number that could be counted on one hand.
After dedicating himself to the "Kryptonian cause," the number of lives Yang Yi has been taking can probably only be measured in terms of race, planet, or even star system.
This number will rise rapidly in the foreseeable future, and even two hands wouldn't be enough to count it.
If Earth and humanity are spared destruction, but the price is that I join the Kryptonians in bringing the same fate to more planets as the people of Starfire, is that price acceptable?
Joey realized he shouldn't have been so quick to lecture the other Kara, bringing up issues of political stance, only to have his words come true.
He finished showing off, and then he kept throwing boomerangs at Joey's own head.
Now, the issue has even reverted to a matter of political stance.
Which races in the universe should be wiped out, and which races will survive?
It is decided solely by the Kryptonians, who are like gods to them.
Yes, another Kara.
Looking at Kara before him, Joey, remembering the other Kara, suddenly had an important matter on his mind:
"I have another question—what's the deal with the other Kara?!"
Clearly, the white-haired Kara who is locked up in front of us is the original.
So the other silly blonde Kara is a clone, an open target.
Joey pressed his temples, feeling a headache coming on. He realized he had made a terrible mistake, which had left him feeling helpless.
Just like Tetris, mistakes made in the early stages accumulate, and now all the mistakes are piled up on your head, so you have to put in a hundred times the effort to fix them.
He originally drove away the blonde Kara on the premise that she was a Kryptonian, and that she would rejoin the Kryptonian army seven days later when they arrived.
Now that the other party's identity has become a clone, everything is different again.
Following the Replicant Wars, Krypton has implemented strict control measures over replicants.
If that fake Kara were to foolishly approach a Kryptonian...
"You really shouldn't have rescued her in the first place and then driven her away later. It added a huge amount of extra cleanup work for me."
When Zhen Kara mentioned her blond clone, a look of disgust, which hadn't been seen in a long time, appeared on her face again:
"As a target, she has exceeded her mission. Once things are over on Earth, I will personally destroy her."
When Zhenkara said this, his expression remained completely unchanged, as if he were talking about an object rather than a person.
Joey is now too lazy to argue with Kara about trivial matters like whether clones have human rights.
If the Kryptonians could have understood this, there wouldn't have been that devastating clone war in history.
"If that's what you think, then I'll never let you out. Are all Kryptonians bastards like you?"
Joey is now thinking he should find the other Kara before the Kryptonians arrive, even if it means locking her up like this one:
"I remember that Kryptonian law explicitly prohibits the creation of clones, so why did you create her to cover your tracks?"
And after she suffered for you in the lab for nearly twenty years, how could you kill her without any psychological burden?
"Isn't solving the master's troubles the very purpose of the clone's existence? Besides, I didn't create her."
Kara dismissed Joey's accusations; to her, the fact that clones had no human rights was as natural as a person needing to drink water when thirsty.
As for the birth of the clone Kara, it was merely a chance accident:
"There are still some intelligent people on this primitive planet. In the ninth month after I was captured, a man named Reiner..."
Luther's genius successfully cloned her.
It was indeed the real Kara that was captured when the spaceship crashed initially, and the military's research had been on the right track.
Reiner Luther possesses the same intelligence as his son, Lex Luther.
He quickly gained insight into the Kryptonian superpowers using tissue samples and observational data extracted by the military.
Unfortunately, he wasn't fast enough, at least not as fast as Kara, who had undergone systematic military training, was able to escape from prison.
After ensuring Rainer Luther's "natural death," Kara simply accelerated the maturation of this successful clone and implanted its memories into it, replacing herself.
He himself went into hiding, maintaining contact with Krypton through the Phantom Zone while ensuring that these people on Earth would never develop a weapon that could truly threaten the Kryptonians.

At this point in the story, Kara and Joey stared at each other, falling into an eerie silence.
Finally, Joey broke the silence first, turning and walking away.
"Fine, don't tell me then."
Kara stood up and shouted at Joey:
"Don't go! Let me out first, and I'll tell you right away!"
Her response was a simple yet straightforward Tibetan phrase from Joey:
"Fuck you!"
Joey discovers that, unlike the empathetic Carla, his cousin's personality is extremely awful.
Every time the other person calls me to talk, it's like they're bored and looking for someone to amuse them.
Even if she did possess a weapon powerful enough to threaten Kryptonians, would she really tell me about it?
Kara, who had just finished teasing Joey, watched through the bars of the cell door as Joey's figure gradually disappeared from her sight with a complicated expression.
What she was looking at at that moment was the ultimate weapon that could threaten all Kryptonians.
