Tatsumi, Ame and Charlene then went to visit the children who had been subjected to memory implant and accelerated growth.The location was on the restricted facility belonged to the Hinon Federation near Giol City.

The moment the three came, they were welcomed by the facility administrator due to their identity.

While walking, they spoke about the current situation of the children.

“How are they faring?” Charlene asked.

“Although they are from the Rodents and their subordinate races, they have been affected by the memory implants as well as the accelerated growth serum so the recovery process has to be natural, not forced.” The facility administrator was actually a middle-aged woman.

Tatsumi knew that to be the case. To repair the broken body was easy but to right the mind was harder than climbing toward heaven.

His body trembled slightly, sympathizing with the children's situation. Ame placed her hand on his shoulder and Charlene grabbed his left hand at the same time.

“Don’t worry, we will be able to let them experience their lost childhood.” Ame said.

“This is the time for us to give them proper entertainment befitting of the children’s need.” Charlene added.

Tatsumi nodded. He then walked right behind the facility administrator, along with Ame and Charlene.

They walked inside the corridor before they were headed toward a large room at the end of the corridor. Tatsumi could feel the familiar presence on the other side of the door.

The facility administrator then put on a card which Tatsumi realized as the highest clearance card for opening all rooms of the facility.

The moment the door opened, the air from the corridor filled the room. Tatsumi could smell the disinfectant in the room.

Then the four entered and saw many children from the Crustacean, Lizardfolk, Elf, and Rodent races.

What Tatsumi wanted to see the most was the Rodent child named Bore. Freed from the duty, Bore became a bit unaccustomed in this facility due to the effect of the memory implant.

But the moment he saw Tatsumi and Ame, he reacted by screeching.

“Please don’t be so surprised.” Tatsumi’s voice became a bit softer.

“But you are my former enemy.” Bore timidly said. In his hand were the toys used to improve the cognitive ability of children and he professionally played with them.

Bore’s eyes never left Tatsumi’s face, as if being imprinted by the instinct from the implanted memory as a top soldier.

“Hm, please understand. We are here not as enemies anymore. The Star Battle is over.” Ame said.

Bore’s body trembled when he heard Ame’s voice. He still remembered how Ame single-handedly crushed him in everything he could, even the transcendent aspect.

“Sister Ame, looks like he is more afraid of you.” Charlene commented.

Ame smiled wryly at that.

Tatsumi and Ame looked at each other and realized that they had probably given the poor child trauma. So they cast their eyes on Charlene. Charlene understood her assignment.

“Sorry if you feel like the two of them are scary.” Charlene said as she slowly approached Bore.

Bore was sitting, but he still felt that everyone related to Ame and Tatsumi ought to be formidable, too. But he felt no hostility from the three of them, including the nice facility administrator.

The facility administrator gave Bore an encouraging look while Charlene squatted in front of Bore.

“Do you feel scared of them? If so, can I get to know you?” Charlene asked Bore.

Bore felt that they were not as bad as he thought. Furthermore, the term Star Battle reminded him of the tasks he had to do during the battle. Now that they had said the Star Battle was over, he was once again forced to believe that the battle had ended.

“No need.” Bore replied in an uncertain way about proceeding further.

“I just…don’t know what I am supposed to do. So is my suffering and my struggle end up in vain?” Bore asked.

Tatsumi stepped forward which Bore instinctively reacted but Tatsumi closed in slowly but giving Bore no surprise like what he did to him during the Star Battle.

Tatsumi put his hand on his shoulder, “You are still a child, you need time and nutrition to grow. What I mean is that the nutrition does not just refer to food and drinks but also good memories.”

Bore listened to Tatsumi’s soft voice. The last time they met, his voice was menacing. But when that happened, they were enemies. This was the first time Bore had seen such another side of the same man and woman.

Then Ame also slowly got closer.

“Do you know that for this day’s activity, you will be brought outside?” Ame said.

“Do you mean me and the others?” Bore asked to confirm his understanding.

“Yes. Being kept inside the room is not good for the long term so we got the permission to bring you all to enjoy yourselves.” Ame nodded with a smile.

“Did you hear that!? Some adults will bring us outside!” Bore suddenly said to the other children.

Tatsumi, Ame and Charlene then got surrounded by the enthusiastic children from the four races.

“Before that, you need your parents' permission.” The facility administrator said.

So they needed to bring along their parents. Their parents also lived in the facility to look after the children who were previously taken away.

After that, Tatsumi, Ame and Charlene became the guides for the children along with their parents. A bus that suited the needs of the different races was provided by the Federation and they all entered it.

“Alright, everyone. We are going to the wilderness area, where we will be able to see the flora and fauna of the Cerulean Planet. Aren’t you excited?” Charlene as if injected by adrenaline, excitedly said through the mic and her voice reverberated from the speaker.

Tatsumi on the other hand was surrounded by the children. He made funny faces and interacted with the children often, so he became the center of attention for the children and the children adored him.

“Come on, you have a strong shell.” Tatsumi patted the Crustacean child while also rubbing the head of Bore.

“And you have a good battle sense.” Tatsumi noticed that Bore was aware of each move that each individual made.

If not for suppression from a stronger transcendent, Bore would be dominating in the same realm.

“But it is not enough.” Bore pouted.

The parents were surprised that Tatsumi could be so popular with children. They then sat a bit closer to Tatsumi to watch over the children so that they would not bother the three people too much.

The parents knew that Tatsumi, Ame and Charlene were influential people and knew them through the news and media.

“Please be careful.” One parent said.

“I will.” Tatsumi replied.

But the parent referred to the child. They needed to be careful not to make things difficult but Tatsumi knew this and let them. His action would prove that the parents need not worry.

“Look to the left, everyone. That is Therizinosaurus. Its claws are long and they are taller than the bus. Fortunately, our bus has been enchanted with Mur so that the wild beast would not curiously bother us.” Charlene pointed to the left and pointed at some Therizinosauruses who were eating plants in the distance.

The children were excited and crowded the left side of the bus. Seeing the wild animals close was something they could not do since it was so dangerous. Their eyes were shining with excitement and wonder at the sight.

“Look at them. They are eating quite well. That is why you should eat your food provided by your parents, okay.” Ame said through the mic.

The parents nodded. This was a good way to educate the children and the three renowned individuals did it so flawlessly.

“Yes, sister!” the children reacted with laughter, looking at the strange way the Therizinosaurus chomped on their meal. They barely heard what Ame had said, but they knew it was something related to food.

Then the bus moved through the plains where there were carnivorous beasts, but the beasts, as if realizing the terror inside the bus, did not dare to approach it; no, they would rather evade it and treat it as if it did not exist.

“Look, look. Their teeth are big, just like you.” Tatsumi said to Bore.

“My teeth are not that big.” Bore grumpily said but his eyes became dazed as he looked at the beast and then shifted his gaze to Tatsumi.

“Really? It looks that way to me.” Tatsumi confessed.

They were actually circling on the outer edge of the Giol City, where there were plains and forested areas around the city. Now, they had entered the plain part and also saw the movement of the herbivorous large animals.

Their every step caused a local tremor, and even on the bus, the people inside could feel it.

“Wow, its neck is long.” A child pointed.

Although they were called children, their bodies were those of adults. It looked quite strange but Tatsumi looked at them for what they were, children. That was why they were acting like this was actually good for their own development stage.

Ame also helped them direct their interest to tell them about the unique features of anything they faced.

“The sun here is different. It is violet.” An Elf child said as he looked into the horizon.

It was already afternoon and the bus had to return to Giol City.

“Well, that is the unique thing we have here.” Charlene said.

“Is that the amusement park?” one child had her eyes glimmer with expectation.

“Yes. This amusement park is already considered ancient but it is still profitable today.” Tatsumi was reminded of his young days while guiding the children.

The parents also had expectations for this activity and now that they were going to the amusement park, they needed to show their child their best side.

“Alright, parents and children. Huddle up and grab your parents’ hands, don’t get separated.” Ame then got off the bus and in front of the amusement park front gate.

Slowly, everyone got off the bus. The bus would be parked in the parking lot while they enjoyed the entertainment the amusement park had to show.

“Remember, hold tight to your parents’ hands. Always together.” Charlene reminded.

Tatsumi then watched as the children reluctantly left his side to their parents’ side. His task was to make sure that everyone was together from entering the amusement park to the point of exiting later.

First, they need to go to the ancient merry-go-round. Because of its size, it could fit dozens of people and that was why it became the first primary target.

The children felt strange riding something whose purpose was to revolve around and around. But since the three guides said so, the children were trying to give it a try.

The parents, on the other hand, were happy since the amusement park was a luxury they could not afford before. That was why they used the given smartphone from the facility to record and take a picture of them in the amusement park rides.

“Sit down, sit down. Enjoy the ride.” Tatsumi was the first to sat on an artificial sitting place. It had the form of a miniature Rex and he sat on its back.

The parents soon followed his example, sitting on the artificial sitting place. They also let their children sat so that the three of them could sit together.

Charlene already used her smartphone to record and take pictures of everyone. Ame on the other hand had to look after everyone and making sure that everyone could enjoy the ride.

After all people were in position, the merry-go-round finally moved. As it moved, the artificial sitting place slightly moved up and down along with the movement of revolving around the center of the ride.

Some people were watching the group since they were just introduced to the new races like Rodents and Crustaceans.

Tatsumi had to give the Crustacean group some water to let them be as comfortable as possible.

Bore and his parents were also enjoying this merry-go-round.

“Son, do you enjoy this?” Bore’s father was a grey-furred rat. He put his hand on Bore’s shoulder.

“Yes. Looking at the other children, which is showing their real physiques, it really is an enjoyable ride.” Bore smiled silently as he enjoyed the ups and downs of the artificial sitting place.

“Hahahaha, it’s so much fun!”

“Go around, go around.”

Bore also looked at his group’s children. They were also the Accelerated Growth Soldier, used to be conscripted to battle but here, they were no different from any children enjoying a simple entertainment suitable for their age.

Then he glanced in Tatsumi's direction.

Seeing him along with Ame and Charlene sitting on an artificial sitting place, looking like they enjoyed themselves as the parents and the children also enjoyed the ride.

Bore saw in them a suitable family. He wondered why they tried to help them but when looking at the three, he started to understand what a happy family was. A flicker in his eyes solidified his intent to be happy with his parents.

That was why he responded by enjoying the ride. Although it was just a simple ride, it could give him and the other similar children the feeling of happiness.

Bore then looked at his parents which looked at him with a happy expression. He just realized that their happiness was actually him being happy.

‘I can do this….I can make them happy and not sad.’ Bore felt his chest tighten and his heart beat stronger. He had not expected that his parents would actually consider his happiness the most important in their hearts.

“I will make sure that we all can be happy.” Bore said something important.

“What are you saying? Of course, we’ll be happy and happier from now on.” His mother said.

“Your mother’s right. We need to be happy and spread it to our circle of individuals.” His father even improved from being happy as a person to spreading it to the people close to them.

This not only happened in Bore’s group but also to the other parents' group with their child.

Tatsumi, Ame and Charlene, who saw this, had an understanding smile on their faces. They also felt the happiness from the group spreading to their heart.

“Wow, they are really happy with just being in the merry-go-round.” Tatsumi commented.

“Hush, of course they would. They are just ordinary parents in their civilization who could only enjoy this kind of entertainment rarely, even almost never.” Charlene elbowed Tatsumi, asking for his understanding.

“Sorry. Of course, they are happy. If this tour makes them happy, I am more than happy to do it.” Tatsumi said.

“Well, don’t forget the small happiness of your own.” Ame rested her head on Tatsumi’s shoulder.

“Yes, yes. What you said is right.” Tatsumi nodded and also enjoyed the merry-go-round with Ame and Charlene.

Then they lost time, and the moment the merry-go-round finally stopped, they felt that was not enough.

But Ame then said to them that the ride was done and to let the others have their turn. So the parents were understanding and led their children to go off.

Tatsumi nodded in agreement.

“Brother! What should we try next?” A child waved at Tatsumi, asking for the next ride.

“Well, you have to see it to understand it.” Tatsumi replied.

Bore on the other hand shifted his gaze from the group to the rollercoaster, where he heard excited screams and had an impression of the ride.

‘I want to at least try that.’ Although he was a transcendent, he still wanted to try it. His parents realized what he wanted but told him something else.

“Please be patient. The group will move to that ride eventually.” His parents reminded. Bore sighed and nodded. They were right, he just needed to enjoy the provided enjoyment.

One by one, the group tried each of the rides at the amusement park. From merry-go-rounds, roller coasters, water rides, to finally the Ferris Wheel.

When they finally went to the Ferris wheel, it was late afternoon, and the violet sun was starting to set.

Bore slowly looked outside and saw the landscape of Giol city. The lights from the lamps and the buildings with windows showed the activity of the local city in the Hinon Federation civilization.

“It looks just like the view of the city from the sky.” Bore murmured.

“That’s the place where we take the road.” His father pointed to the lamps that lit the way they came from.

“We have never seen the view of the city from this height.” His mother looked at the view with amazement.

“Dad, Mom, is this view rare for you?” Bore asked. To him who often looked at this view from the sky was actually common. But he did not expect that his parents would not even see this view which he considered common.

‘Ah, they were just an ordinary citizen. This rehabilitation process helps me realize that what I have is really unattainable for others.’ Bore thought about it and started to make sense.

On the other side, Tatsumi, Ame and Charlene enjoyed the Ferris wheel ride. Tatsumi was sandwiched between the two women. But he enjoyed it since this time was a holiday for him.

“It feels like the children are truly enjoying this activity. Good to know that outdoor activity helps them get happier.” Tatsumi curled up his lips as he could feel the happiness through the Karmic Eyes.

Getting them happy made him happy too and that made him have karma with them. Especially notable was that Bore felt happy as he was the Star Child of the Rodents.

‘I wish that everyone would be able to reach their own happiness.’ Tatsumi then embraced the two women, smelling their pleasant fragrance.
