He did not doubt the consequences of being struck by that sword.

Without hesitation, he raised the emerald staff in his hand to block his head.

The Holy Sword struck the staff with a thunderous crash, sending a terrifying shockwave sweeping in all directions, stirring the yellow sand on the ground into a rolling sea.

As the Angewomon launched the attack, Bella, Wanda, and others instantly left the planet.

They transported to Sakaar.

Topaz dutifully tapped her wristwatch twice, revealing a holographic projection of an empty, luxurious room.

This puzzled Topaz, and her expression quickly changed. She hurriedly swiped the projection to show the corridor outside the room, where a few soldiers and maids stood respectfully, seemingly unaware that the room was empty.

"How could this be?"

Topaz was perplexed. She didn't believe the soldiers and maids would dare release Thanos on their own, as they were the Grandmaster's private property. If Thanos had escaped, why would they remain in place?

The Grandmaster was not a reasonable person. Thanos escaping meant these people would be severely punished, if not executed.

Topaz knew the Grandmaster's ruthlessness well.

The holographic images continued to scroll, automatically searching for Thanos's image. Sakaar's surveillance was more advanced than Earth's, with micro cameras dispersed in the air, capturing footage across the entire planet and capable of monitoring individual homes undetected.

Despite the advanced technology, after three minutes, there was still no trace of Thanos.

Sakaar was large, and automated searches could take time. However, the Grandmaster's technology was among the most advanced in the universe, and three minutes should have been enough to find anyone, especially someone as distinctive as Thanos.

The absence of Thanos indicated he had likely left Sakaar.

Thanos had taken the opportunity to escape while the Grandmaster was distracted by these formidable individuals, a risky move that also deceived the Grandmaster.

The Grandmaster's previous grand announcements had turned into a laughingstock, inviting ridicule from other cosmic powers.

Would the Grandmaster let Thanos off?

Topaz was baffled, but she turned to Wanda's group and said, "I'm sorry, he may have already left Sakaar."

"He could only have left by ship. We can investigate those ships."
