Chapter 48: 1st Qi Condensation Realm, Massive Divine Sense

Lucifer sat in a lotus position, allowing his body to be shredded and destroyed. All of this was a painful process, but all was worth it in the end as he was on the verge of a breakthrough!

After a moment or two of enduring the fluctuating intensity of the multi-colored Qi, everything finally came to a close...

Waa...

The Qi within the air plummeted from 11 to 1 in the blink of an eye, subsequently resulting in the dispersion of Qi around Lucifer's body.

"The breakthrough went off without a hitch, and my strength has improved by a marginal amount. But, eh... It feels like something is off..."

Lucifer scanned the Spiritual Cave, his piercing gaze conveniently sweeped over the unconscious spirits as he attempted to find something.

He felt like something was there... something that he needed...

"Well, maybe it's just this body's libido... I mean, the boy was a virgin before now, so it makes sense that he's actively trying to find something. Probably trying to find a maiden."

Lucifer lightly shook his head, more than a little disappointed in the original owner of this body.

"Maidenless at the age of 18. Tsk tsk. What a terrible excuse for a rich young master."

He clicked his tongue a few times before getting up off the ground, watching the grimy black substances slither down his body.

These impurities were the remnants of what was expelled from the body for the first few Mortal Realms. To Lucifer, however, they were just another resource he could use to concoct pills!

Nothing should be wasted! All benefits would be his!

Lucifer knew how to clean his plate until it turned sparkly clean, and the impurities from his body were no exception to that principle. After all, they could be used in the creation of a variety of unique poisons...

"Well, I can have a few clones handle the poison-making later. But for now, I think I will... Hmm, what should I do?"

He surveyed his surroundings with his genuine Divine Sense, quickly realizing that he could see up to a mile away, which was to say that his Divine Sense was more than 1,000 times larger than an average Qi Condensation Realm Cultivator!

Normally, one would be categorized as an ordinary Qi Condensation Realm Cultivator if one possessed a Divine Sense with a radius of 2 meters.

Geniuses, on the other hand, would normally have a Divine Sense with a radius of 10-20 meters.

And then there was Lucifer...

A 1+ mile radius... That was just absurd!

Furthermore, it wouldn't stop with just that; his Divine Sense would surely grow stronger with each advancement he made on his path of cultivation!

Nevertheless, all of this was not relevant to the plan since Lucifer was still trying to figure out what he should be doing next...

He looked around the Spiritual Cave, entertaining the notion that some more cultivation couldn't possibly harm him, but then a thought struck him.

"No! You must fight!"

Lucifer snapped himself away from the thought of sitting in a cave and cultivating for eternity. He had things to accomplish with his main body!

"This is the perfect time to be taking advantage of my family, and I must not squander it."

With determination, Lucifer walked out of the cave, heading for the nearest explosions, eager to find someone worth exploiting.
