I Made Up Forbidden Spells, and They Actually Worked?

Chapter 244: Alice's Dilemma

Chapter 244: Alice's Dilemma

Alice lowered her head, her voice trembling slightly. "I've been secretly gathering information about the academy, trying to find a weakness we could exploit to fight against you. But I discovered..."

"What did you discover?" Dean Bruce pressed, his tone curious.

Alice paused, thinking carefully before continuing. "I discovered that you..."

"Dean, there's something happening!"

Before Alice could finish her sentence, they heard Prolo Hawthorne's voice from not far away.

Alice and Dean Bruce instinctively turned toward the sound of Prolo's voice.

"The principal wants to see you in his office," Prolo said as he approached. "He said there's something important he needs to discuss with you."

"Alright, I'll go now." Dean Bruce nodded, then turned to Alice. "We'll talk about this later."

With that, he turned and walked away.

Alice stood frozen, her face a mixture of confusion and hesitation.

"Alice, what's wrong?" Prolo asked, noticing her reaction.

Alice gazed at Dean Bruce's retreating figure, her heart in turmoil. She didn't know if what she had done was right or wrong, but she knew she had to make a choice.

"Prolo, I..." Alice started to speak but trailed off, letting out a soft sigh instead. "Never mind. Let's go."

Prolo watched Alice's complex expression, his curiosity piqued, but he didn't ask any further questions. He simply followed her in silence.

Dean Bruce arrived at the principal's office to find the principal sitting at his desk, looking grave and deep in thought.

"Principal, you wanted to see me?" Dean Bruce asked.

The principal looked up, meeting Dean Bruce's gaze with a serious expression. "Dean, I just received some information. It seems the Black Hole Organization may not have been completely wiped out. Their remaining forces are stirring in the shadows."

"What?" Dean Bruce's heart tightened at the news. "Are you sure?"

The principal nodded. "The information came from a reliable source. It should be accurate. And I've also heard that they might be planning an attack on the Magic Academy."

Dean Bruce furrowed his brows. "What should we do? Our defenses have improved, but if the Black Hole Organization really launches an attack, we might not be able to stop them."

The principal sighed deeply. "Yes, that's exactly what I'm worried about. However, we can't just sit idly by. We must act quickly and take measures."

Dean Bruce thought for a moment and said, "I believe we should strengthen the academy's patrols and alert systems, while also reaching out to other magical factions for support."

"So you hesitated?" Prolo Hawthorne interrupted Alice. "Alice, do you have any idea how dangerous this is? If Dean Bruce finds out your real identity, he might kill you!"

Alice lowered her head. "I know... but I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to keep deceiving Dean Bruce, but I'm scared of the consequences if I tell him the truth."

Prolo Hawthorne, seeing the helplessness in Alice's eyes, felt a wave of sympathy wash over him. He understood that Alice was a victim too—used by Elvis Donimo to carry out dangerous missions.

"Alice, don't panic," Prolo Hawthorne comforted her. "We won't tell Dean Bruce just yet. I'll help you figure something out."

Alice looked up, hope gleaming in her eyes. "Really? Prolo, can you help me?"

Prolo Hawthorne nodded. "Of course, we're friends, right? But first, you need to tell me—what exactly is Elvis Donimo's plan? Why did he send you to infiltrate the academy?"

Alice hesitated for a moment but eventually shared Elvis Donimo's plan with Prolo Hawthorne. After hearing her out, Prolo Hawthorne frowned deeply and fell into thoughtful silence.

He knew that this situation was even more complicated and dangerous than he had imagined. But he also understood that he couldn't stand by and do nothing. He had to figure out a way to help Alice and Dean Bruce overcome this crisis.

"Alice, you should go rest for now," Prolo Hawthorne said. "I'll think this through carefully, and I will find a solution."

Alice nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Prolo. I really don't know what to do anymore. I can only rely on you now."

With that, she turned and left the classroom, leaving Prolo Hawthorne alone to ponder.

Prolo Hawthorne knew that he had to come up with a plan quickly. If the remaining forces of the Black Hole Organization launched an attack, the consequences would be unthinkable.

...

On the other side, Dean Bruce had just returned home when he heard the voice of Cyb Louis.

"Dean, I finally found you," Cyb Louis called out, looking at Dean Bruce.

Dean Bruce froze for a moment, then asked, "What are you doing here? Is something wrong?"

"Yes, something is wrong," Cyb Louis said seriously. "I've received some intelligence about the remaining forces of the Black Hole Organization. They seem to be planning an attack on the Magic Academy."

Dean Bruce's heart skipped a beat. "What? They're daring to come after us again?"

Cyb Louis nodded. "Yes, and this time their plan seems to be more carefully coordinated and dangerous. We need to take action quickly to prevent them from succeeding."

Dean Bruce thought for a moment before replying, "I've already come up with a response plan, and I was preparing to implement it. But now it seems we need to enhance our defenses and increase our vigilance, while also reaching out to other magical factions for their support."

Cyb Louis agreed with a nod. "Exactly. We need to unite all the forces we can to face the threat of the Black Hole Organization. I'll contact the other magical factions immediately and try to gain their support."

Dean Bruce expressed his gratitude. "Thank you, Minister Cyb. I'll continue strengthening the academy's defenses and vigilance to ensure the safety of the students."

Cyb Louis patted Dean Bruce on the shoulder. "Don't worry, Dean. We'll get through this. But you need to be careful. The Black Hole Organization is cunning, and they may use all sorts of tactics to deal with you."
