Chapter 424: Fun and Joy

Chapter 424: Fun and Joy

The sound of glass shattering resounded all over my ears. A set of memories flooded my mind, one I existed.…

The first thing I did after escaping Kiana’s grasp was to drop Vita a visit. Using to shield my existence, she did notice me. The same couldn’t be said for the feathered mask attached to her waist, however.

Without waiting for my reaction, THEY moved right in front of me. The comical mask floated in my sights.

“Aha wants to play hide and seek too!”

“I believe you would prefer something more fun than it.”

Having grasped Aha’s nature, I knew exactly what to give THEM.

“We could seal you away for eight hundred years. Worse, we could throw you out of the solar system. It would cost much, but please don’t doubt our capabilities. We can do it.”

“Aha says it is no fun…”

The mask shook gently, as if expressing THEIR frustration.

“Unless… you will pull down others with you.”

“!!!”

Three large red exclamation marks appeared on top of the mask.

“Just a simple ‘’ would do.”

“Aha will definitely do it! Thinking about THEIR reactions is enough to fill up a planet with laughter, haha!”

THEIR answer did not come off as a surprise. I would have been more surprised if THEY declined my offer.

“The opportunity will come at the destined time…”

I opened my shut eyes.

Out of all Aeons who showed interest towards the solar system, I chose to contact Aha. Not because THEY are stronger than I expected, but because THEIR nature aligns with the effect I desire.

The entire stage play at Amphoreus allowed me to touch this universe’s highest-level powers. I previously assumed that the Aeons are comparable to fake cultivators at the Dao Integration Realm. That was 80% true.

A real Dao Integration Realm powerhouse could affect the entire universe. As long as a bit of their concept remains, they could use it to resurrect themselves. Their Dao is vast and boundless, never to be compared to the might of Void Refinement Realm Star Lords. In their eyes, Star Lords can be killed with a flick of a finger.

Aeons seemed underwhelming compared to that. THEY have varying restrictions that keep them from unleashing THEIR power in the universe. THEY can also be killed even though their ‘concept’ remained (i.e., Akivili, Idrilla). My wariness towards THEM gradually dropped… until the Amphoreus event.

At that time, I held the power comparable to the Dao Integration Realm. My World Rendering Sword could deal fatal damage to these Aeons. But my intuition told me it wouldn’t be as fatal as I estimated. THEY have something else up their sleeves. THEY are not as simple as the Herrschers we faced previously.

The most strange out of the bunch was naturally , followed by the four paths leading to it. Nous was up next along with THEIR counterpart, Mythus. The rest either had lesser influence or didn’t show much interest compared to others.

Hence, I started suspecting that might have followed us on our way back to Earth. It wasn’t a far-fetched guess. We simulated twelve different Primum Mobile. Someone is bound to sneak over with the connection formed between some of my partners. That thought was confirmed once I experimented with the Tao Gifts. A faint, unnatural causal line extended from some of them.

I sealed the memories of these discoveries along with my negotiation with Aha, all to ensure everything would go well.

Looking at five different silhouettes in the distance, I knew it was time to reel them in. A miniature palace appeared atop my palm. Its familiar design and fluctuations sent a faint chill in my spine. I couldn’t be any more familiar with it.

Zixiao Palace, Daoist Hongjun’s abode. It is from here that he overlooked the Primordial Universe. It was also here that he preached times. The third was the time he imparted the Primordial Purple Qi to his disciples, allowing them to reach the level of Heavenly Dao Saint through the virtue of karma.

It is a peak eighth-grade Dao Artifact housing an entire “separate” world within. As for its prowess…

The surroundings changed as got sucked inside the palace. I paid their surprised looks with no heed. My partners all found themselves seated into one of the meditation pillows. The aura of five Aeons could not be found at this moment.

“In a short while, I will bring everyone inside my . I need the cooperation of everyone who participated back in Amphoreus. We will suppress… and refine THEIR statuses.”

“Halt when you are halfway complete on the third edict.”

Before the battle began, Shi Tian caught up with Ji Xuanyuan and said these words. The latter did not doubt his commands, obeying them without questions. The sharpness hidden underneath her pale golden eyes couldn’t be concealed.

She… they haven’t forgotten about the vow they made that day. To become sharpest blades. As for other emotions… They tried to forget about it.

They watched everyone around them moving towards Shi Tian. Kiana was the first for that position. When he found them sealed inside the Xuanyuan Sword, he had already gone through life and death for Kiana alone. They knew Kiana’s position in his heart was unshakeable.

At that time, however, they didn’t have these ‘feelings’ towards Shi Tian. They saw him as a benefactor who they needed to repay. Later on, they greatly admired his actions as this world’s . The will to help him came about naturally.

The more they did so, the more they sank deeper onto him. His greatness. His caring. His ‘gentle’ and ‘selfless’ personality. Shi Tian was greedy to the point he would rather get himself hurt than to see others doing the same.

The two Xuanyuans couldn’t hide their thoughts from each other. They decided to support each other in this quest.

‘After this battle…’

Unbeknownst to Shi Tian, there are waves of waiting for him amidst their fight against five Aeons.
