a little while later, when nessa finished taking her bath, she got dressed then exited the room and saw that the demon was still there waiting for her and she smiled at him.

nessa approached him but couldn't tell whether he was awake or not, since he had the hood on, once again and she touched the hood then moved it a little and when she took it off, he grabbed onto her hand and she flinched.

his eyes narrowed as he looked at her and a slight smile appeared on her face as she looked away from him, then he chuckled and stood up.

"see something you like?" he asked and she glanced at him.

"don't dream too much, i am just curious a little, nothing of that sort, that much i can assure you," she responded and he smiled a little before releasing her hand and at the same time, she lowered her gaze a little.

"what's the matter? you look bothered by something, everything okay?" he asked and she looked at him.

"no, it's not like that, in fact, i am not sure, i just feel a bit different, that's all, shall we go and see if everything is, okay?" she asked as she walked away and his eyes narrowed, then he followed her.

both of them were heading to the dining hall for breakfast, when they saw kyle walked by them and his eyes narrowed as he looked at nessa and he seemed a bit angry and instead of heading to the dining hall, they went into the living room.

nessa saw that mikala was standing there and jovan was in the room as well.

"mikala," nessa said and she looked at the girl, as did jovan and mikala smiled.

"good morning," mikala replied.

"good morning, mikala, is everything okay here?" she asked as she walked past jovan, and he gritted his teeth.

"isn't that a bit too soon?" both the king and mikala asked and her siblings smiled at them then she sighed.

"i have got responsibilities as well, i can't possible stay here much longer, but i can come visit in the future, i am sorry," she responded and they smiled at her.

"it's okay, there is no need to apologize, i understand that you can't stay here so long," mikala said and nessa smiled at her then the king nodded and she exhaled deeply.

'getting attached huh? the people i have met so far, seemed to do that faster, it's not something that i am too familiar with, at times, part of me feels...' she thought as they all took their food and the demon glanced at her.

'i am not seeing wrong, she seems bothered by more than one thing but the question is what,' the demon wondered before beginning to eat his food.

"why don't you take off your hood?" one among the council members asked and the demon glanced at him with his eyes narrowed.

"only i am allowed to see his face, it's slightly different," nessa responded and zack smiled as he looked at them, as did mikala and the demon scoffed.

"i suppose, is something wrong with him?" the person asked.

"yeah, now please, it's his personal business, i would rather no one asks about it anymore and respect his privacy," she responded and the person agreed with her then she sighed and continued eating her food, since she was feeling a little hungry.

later that morning, when everyone finished eating their breakfast, it was time for the leader of the council members to leave, since his work was finished and before he left, he bid farewell to nessa, but the demon found him a little weird.

she did the same, but he had also hoped to see her, whenever she comes to visit kurson, since he believed that she worked for him.

after he left, nessa began feeling a little weird as she was talking to the others in the main hall and just then, her eyes began glowing, little did she knew that men were approaching her nation, planning an ambush, for they were waiting for their moment.
